Thousands of people living in Florida were forced to evacuate their homes and even the whole state due to the risk of a hurricane.

The National Meteorological Service of Tallahassee released a warning for anyone who lives in the Gulf of Apalachee and its surroundings, as stated in the update on Wednesday (September 25).

The threat of a thunderstorm is “catastrophic and/or potentially unpredictable”.

The damage was further south, and the cars threw themselves under water in the Mexican state of Quintana Roo.

Meanwhile, the province of Pinar del Rio has seen that more than 50,000 people remain without power.
